mediagender: GBVMA: Gender-Based Violence Media Alliance It was established on June 20, this year in Dar es Salaam during a special media training on gender-based violence-organized by the Human Development Trust (HDT) Led by Judica Tarimo as alliance Chairman and Fredy Azzah vice Chairman GBVMA is formed by journalists who are committed to fight against escalating gender-based violence in Tanzania society Currently, it has 20 founder members—all of them journalists from various media houses (print and Electronic). Mission The Alliance is presently processing its official registration, establishing its own websites, , securing office and other working tools. Vision Having a society which is free from gender-based violence
